Всем привет. Восемь лет назад я написал браузерную IO игру про космические сражения. Какое-то время игра была в онлайне и даже пользовалась некоторой популярностью, но потом я ее забросил. А сегодня случайно наткнулся на старый ролик, сделанный игрокам - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AG7rVC1LiNM . И подумал, что ведь она неплохо выглядит даже сейчас. Что если кто-то захочет ее развить? Серверная часть написана на go, один сервер поддерживает до 2000 одновремнных игроков. Клиент написан на Unity3d. Есть еще боты, работающие на том же протоколе, что и клиент. Они туповатые, но в целом, умеют и воевать и преследовать игрока и собирать ресурсы. Ботов написал на java мой брат. Конечно, все исходники давно устарели - версии go и unity там восьмилетней давности. Но все это можно реанимировать и привести в порядок, если найдутся люди, желающие развивать такой проект. Лично мне хотелось бы вписать текущий гэймплэй в какую-то более интересную и общую вселенную - сделать из этого RPG может быть. Кому интересно пишите комментарии или в личку. Готов ответить на вопросы.

I love many software projects that I use, even if they're in beta, even if they're open source and run by a couple people's free time and fraught with bugs. I try to report bugs and feature requests, and share ideas when issues are discussed, but I feel bad that I only know a basic level of coding and cannot contribute what really matters - code. I open many issues, and close almost none.
Even if I did code, I'm not sure that my free time would thank me for it.
Maybe one day.

I have just released new versions of PHPUnit 8.5, PHPUnit 9.6, PHPUnit 10.5, PHPUnit 11.5, and PHPUnit 12.3.
These new versions (as well as new versions of some of their dependencies) no longer use functionality that was deprecated for PHP 8.5 within the last 24 hours or so. This should make testing your code with PHP 8.5 easier.

People ask me why I only make 1 video and 1 live a week. Well, let me explain...
Since I am severely capped on my Internet 50gb/mo I have no choice. With videos being so big, and lives even bigger, I have to limit my usage.
If I am to make more I would need to pay over $70 to get the 100gb/mo+ plan which I cannot afford at the current rate.
There you go, the more you know.
