I currently use DeepL Translate (free) for #translation and LanguageTool (premium) for #grammar and #spelling.
I am curious to hear what other #linux users use. 🤓
I would like to replace DeepL with something that, like LanguageTool, is #opensource. And ideally I would prefer to run everything locally.

I realize what I'm mostly experiencing with Debian 13 is actually jumping three versions of Gnome (and I'll have the same experience in three years, mostly likely) but DAMN I like this upgrade! Everything feels like it's gotten a fresh coat of paint.

OpenAI's open-source pivot, more than anything, shows that OpenAI hasn't understood why China makes its AI open-source (to win consulting contracts), nor did they understand why many researchers and power users want free software (freedom, not free beer)
