Proton released an "AI" (Lumo) that they market as open source. About that... with zero openness features checked it is the least open "open" model ever to arrive in the European OS AI index

Dan de motie eXit X
Hierin wordt gevraagd dat het congres zich uitspreekt dat een aanwezigheid op X niet langer past bij de idealen waar de Partij voor de Dieren voor staat en dat ze hierbij de partij en de fracties waar dit nog voor van toepassing is oproepen om hun accounts op X op te heffen of op zijn minst te bevriezen en er geen nieuwe content meer te plaatsen.
Het bestuur ontraadt deze motie met het argument dat het bereik en de interactie op X (63.000 volgers) nu nog dusdanig groot is in vergelijking met BlueSky (7500 volgers) en Mastodon (3000 volgers) dat we er niet weg kunnen. Alle journalisten zitten daar nog, dus wij kunnen ook niet weg. (En ondertussen denken de journalisten, alle politici zitten daar nog, dus wij kunnen ook niet weg.)
Gaat de kwantiteit van de interactie boven de kwaliteit? Is haatzaaierij een interactie die je wilt?

In het huidige ‘gangbare’ social media systeem is relatief weinig kennis van de Fediverse. Juist daarom is zo'n werkgroep zo belangrijk. Een werkgroep die advies geeft op dit gebied is juist zeer waardevol voor de Partij voor de Dieren en de social media strategen.
Door die eenzijdige focus op de Big Tech platformen, en dat staat ook bij de constateringen, geef je leden en andere geïnteresseerden in de partij geen keuze maar dwing je ze haast om deze platformen te gebruiken. Zonder account begin je op Instagram helemaal niets. En zelfs met account kom je niet uit de voeten met alleen een browser. Wil je alle functionaliteit kunnen benutten, dan moet je de app installeren. En ook daar vindt de partij iets van in het verkiezingsprogramma 😉
