Perhaps you're just like me back then. Perhaps you want to donate but can't afford to. Want to contribute but can't code. That's totally fine. There is so much other things you can do. Join the community on krita-artists.org or help new users with their issues on other forums like reddit or any other art focused community. Even something little as tagging your artwork with being made with Krita when posting it does help. Every little thing is a donation to the community that ultimately helps Krita as a project. Perhaps you're not even an artist yourself but have a friend who is, you could mention that free painting app you recently heard about. No one is expected to do anything to help, but everything is appreciated. This is not limited to Krita but is true for Open Source as a whole.
