Ich suche nach Alternativen oder anderen Gruppen im Köln-Bonner Raum, die sich mit Open Source und 3D-Roboterbau beschäftigen. Hat jemand Tipps oder Erfahrungen? I only use a distro that has these out of the box:
🛡 openQA-tested updates — every snapshot is tested before release.
🔁 Btrfs+Snapper — full system snapshots & instant rollbacks.
🔒 Secure by default — SELinux, AppArmor, hardened setup.
🧠 Consistent packaging — no random AUR scripts.
That’s why I say Tumbleweed is the best — nothing else combines all of this.

Well, what do you know?
I wiped both #Ubuntu and #CachyOS on this #DELL 16" 5640, that I had trouble with its fingerprint reader software getting its settings lost at random times, and installed Linux Mint.
And it works perfectly.
There's a reason why Mint is the go-to distro. Some say that "start with Mint, and then move to something else". And I ask you: WHY? Why move to something else that never works as well as Mint? Who's got time for tinkering?
