The uni I go to relies on a #proprietary piece of software called codePost for grading computer science assignments in certain classes. Many universities also use it.
However, a few weeks ago, I saw this on their website:
> codePost.io is shutting down on Dec 31, 2025
For the university, which is already facing budget cuts because of the cheeto, this is not exactly helping matters. Now they need to find or create some alternative before next semester to keep the classes running.
Honestly? It upsets me enough that I want to make an #opensource codePost clone, if one does not already exist with the same featureset.
