To install #Debian lookes like really complicated. However, It is really easy from a live-usb. First at all, I down load two live usb with Gnome and KDE Plasma enviroments to check how they works. I choose gnome becuase it is more minimalistic and according my preferentes. KDE has a looooot options to set up the pulpit.
The laptop seems to work fine and it is an 15 years old Thinkpad w510 with a new SSD hard drive.
