Das Ende von W-X: Ja, nein, vielleicht?
Microsoft (MS) hatte ja das geplante Ende des Supports für Windows 10 (W-X) für den kommenden Flickentag (2025.10-14) angekündigt. Das Upgrade auf W-11 ist aber sehr vielen Rechnern verwehrt, weil MS die Latte sehr hoch gehängt hat - aus technischer Sicht unnötig hoch. Das hat erwartungsgemäß viele Anwender/innen von Windows erzürnt, private wie berufliche. Nicht jede/r möchte nur wegen MS neue Rechner kaufen. Den Firmenkunden, also für die Ausgaben Enterprise und Education, bietet MS wie eh und je kostenpflichtige Support-Verlängerungen an.
