For 81 år siden kom budskabet om besættelsens afslutning og et frit Danmark. Mørklægningen blev erstattet med lys. Ikke mere overvågning, kontrol og frihedsberøvelse. Samme begejstring og frihedsfølelse oplever vi hos Semaphor hver gang det lykkedes at erstatte big tech med open source it-løsninger.
Vores kunder slipper for ufrivillig overvågning, tvungen hosting, manglende frihed til selv at udvælge sit software samt skyhøje licenspriser. Kontrollen over egne data er tilbageerobret, it-løsningerne er trygge, transparente og skalerbare. Digital uafhængighed og datasuverænitet er opnået.
Vi opfordrer alle til at lade befrielsesstemningen brede sig - og budskabet om genvunden digital frihed udvirke mod og handlekraft til at slippe ud af kløerne på big tech.
Overalt er der kræfter på spil i kampen for digital uafhængighed. Nogle er mere modige end andre og går i gang med forskellige projekter for at afprøve mulighederne. Andre taler for lovgivningskrav og anvisninger på området. Flere tøver og træder vande. Det er simpelthen ikke godt nok.
Fra Semaphor skal lyde en kraftig opfordring til benytte befrielsesdagen den 5. maj til aktiv kamp for digital uafhængighed.
