Gefahr durch Ubuntu-Ableger
Von der bekannten Linux-Distribution Ubuntu gibt es mehrere Ableger oder "Aromen", die Ubuntu mit einer anderen Oberfläche (Desktop Environment DE) ausstatten. Wer auf Augenzucker verzichten kann, oder wer es wegen schwacher Hardware* muss, der kann zu sparsamen DE wie Xfce oder das noch genügsamere LXDE greifen. Einzelne Gruppen von Ubuntu-Anhängern verpacken das System mit dem jeweiligen DE zu Xubuntu bzw. Lubuntu. Die beiden Gruppen stellen das so zugeschnittene System jeweils auf einer eigenen Website zum Download bereit.
