You may have noticed that on #fedora 43, gstreamer1-plugins-ugly is broken, preventing upgrades.
#terrapkg provides the same working package, so you can add --exclude=gstreamer1-plugins-ugly-1:1.26.7-1.fc43.x86_64 to dnf to fix the issue.

You didn't? That's Odd. Because it affected you.
Let me explain
AWS spans the globe
That means that any instant messaging system relies on a infrastructure like that as Meredith of Signal has explained in her toots here on the FediVerse. Even if the capital is no subject, which is a couple of billions of EUR/USD you still need the highly qualified technicians to run and maintain This Global Network.
So when you had delays in any of your instant messaging software, like Signal, or those controlled by Meta or Alphabet, your delays came from the AWS outage.
It's never good to have this amount of concentration of global spanning networks in the hands of three to four players!
Just like with GPS, Solutions need to be found. Solutions need to be built
AWS wasn't built in a day
It was built systematically so the rest of the planet just needs to build other networks with spend the globe even if it takes a decade
There are even beds smart beds (wtf) which were bricked because of the AWS breakdown.
