Been debating whether I should even post this, because I haven’t on my main account, properly, and I’m turning into “that dork that never finishes projects anymore”, buuut … well this one hopefully has a small enough scope to be doable!
There’s not much to show off yet, but I don’t mind stringing people along who are interested in the (slow but steady) #GameDev journey.
So I have been and hopefully will continue to be working on an #OpenSource #bloxel game that’s a recreation of the 2009 version of Minecraft, now referred to as “Classic”. A simple, creative-mode sandbox with limited world size, multiplayer and browser support, build with #Bevy in #Rust.
This is.. interesting, because 15 years ago I wrote my own custom Minecraft server(s) in C# for this version. So kind of also returning to my roots in a way?
