The saving grace is that general purpose silicon (CPU's) is still around, in the shape and form that fits prior, less dystopic bigtech objectives.
This is the era when the infamous #Wintel cartel was dominating "productivity" and personal computers and software and which actually gave rise to the #opensource movement.
For what its worth, this general purpose compute will be around for some time.
This provides a window of opportunity for escaping total software dependency.

More eye-candy and also an important gameplay bug fixed for #CDogsSDL. Added flame particles, so anyone taking damage from a flame-type weapon visibly looks like theyâre on fire!
The bug fix is missing âsquaresâ in randomly generated levels. This is a big deal because itâs such a key part of the experience - details in alt text!
