Moving to Linux is all about control. Once you get your workflow right on #ArchLinux, everything else feels like a toy.

We’re bringing that same mindset to #Keepita. Your phone backups shouldn't be a "black box" controlled by big tech. Keep it open, keep it local. 🐧

Who else here is obsessed with digital sovereignty?

Open-source modular tools have quietly shaped AI from the beginning—web crawlers, scrapers, parsers, and reusable libraries designed to be combined and extended. This layered ecosystem enabled modern AI to emerge through shared improvements rather than isolated systems, accelerating progress. Natural language prompting reflects this evolution, turning complex workflows into simple interaction. Keeping this open approach spreads innovation and makes AI more accessible.

I miss small phones, and the Galaxy S26 doesn’t count

Never mind the Galaxy S26 and Pixel 10. I want a phone with a 6-inch screen or smaller in 2026.

There are billions and billions of euros in all kind of different funds and programs throughout the @EUCommission, but no funds for pushing an independent mobile platform. It's the only way for us to have digital these days. I'm not an expert, but I'm sure that couple of millions at a right place could make a big difference.
