Summary of my #mastodon to #snac migration. I lost 15 follows and 10 followers.
Follows:
- 6 were from defunct instances (managed to find the new instance of 2)
- 3 were from instance that required manual intervention (panic and vivaldi)
- 1 was funkwhale, not sure why it doesn't work
- 2 give me 401s (social.pollux.casa, and social.allmende.io)
- 3 are a mystery, not sure if it's a custom activity pub or if gone
- 2 are from defunct instances
- 1 is from a misskey instance
- 7 are from bluesky bridgyfed instances

Durch einen Troet von @diekehrseite, wo eine App gesucht wurde die Beiträge planen kann, bin ich auf #fediplan gestoßen. Die Planung läuft plattformunabhängig im Browser. Den Dienst kann man auch selber hosten, was für mich wieder interessant war.
Nun habe ich das Ganze mal eingerichtet und teste mal ein wenig ob es funktioniert. Dies ist also der erste geplante Beitrag von mir über fediplan, welches nun auf meinem Server läuft.

From my perch here in the US, temporarily held captive by a fascist regime funded by American tech and corporate giants, let me give a hardy salute to our European friends who are - by necessity - breaking away from these companies. They've brought all this on themselves. Google and their ilk deserve every bit of the financial harm coming to them.
If Europe builds viable competing tech platforms I'll be jumping ship. I absolutely love its social media alternative!

I have thoughts for improving #Mastodon:
1. Turn off preview cards, to slake the temptation to click a link with an outrageous preview.
2. Allow either an image or a link in a single toot, not both.
3. Kick every commercial and political body off the platform.
Humane social media for humans, not clickbait for capitalism.
