@tapbots You know what would be awesome and super helpful? A way to store a collection of hashtags for topics a user often posts about and drop them in a toot, using a single special hashtag that Ivory translates.
Maybe if you type ##mysavedtags3 Ivory would swap in a stored list of tags the user setup earlier.

El sesgo de confirmación, término acuñado originalmente por el psicólogo británico Peter Wason en la década de 1960, describe la tendencia intrínseca del cerebro humano a buscar, interpretar y recordar información que valide creencias preexistentes, mientras se ignora o desestima de forma sistemática cualquier evidencia contradictoria. No se trata de un simple error de juicio, sino de un mecanismo cognitivo profundo que prioriza la comodidad de la certidumbre sobre la complejidad de la realidad factual.
En el contexto actual de la comunicación, este fenómeno se ha visto exponencialmente potenciado por la edición algorítmica y las burbujas de filtro en plataformas digitales privativas como Twitter o Facebook entre otras. Cuando el usuario interactúa únicamente con contenidos y personas que refuerzan su visión del mundo, la capacidad de ejercicio del pensamiento crítico se erosiona, dando paso a una visión informativa fragmentada. Este sesgo no solo afecta la percepción individual, sino que articula la polarización social al convertir el dato verificado en una amenaza para la identidad del grupo.
Por ejemplo una persona cree que la tierra es plana,así que solo consume contenidos que refuerzan ese tipo de ideas e interactúa con gente que tiene ese mismo tipo de idea, "reforzando" que su idea y creencias son correctas y que son verdad, pero... ¿ en realidad la tierra es plana? CLARO QUE NO!!! Lo mismo sucede en cuanto a política, ideología, partidismo, religión, dogmas o cualquier otra área del ser humano
La metodología para contrarrestar esta distorsión exige un regreso a la metacognición y al rigor periodístico clásico. Someter las propias premisas a la falsación —buscar activamente la prueba que desmienta nuestra conclusión— es el único procedimiento capaz de romper la inercia del sesgo. Sin este filtro ético, la información deja de ser una herramienta de conocimiento para convertirse en un mero eco de nuestras propias preconcepciones, alejándonos de la verdad tangible.

El por qué algunos creen siempre tener razon
El efecto Dunning-Kruger describe una distorsión cognitiva en la que individuos con escasa habilidad o conocimiento en un área específica tienden a sobreestimar su propia competencia. Este fenómeno fue formalizado en 1999 por los psicólogos David Dunning y Justin Kruger, quienes determinaron que la falta de conocimiento no solo conduce a errores, sino que priva al sujeto de la capacidad metacognitiva necesaria para reconocer su propia incompetencia.
En el ámbito de la comunicación y redes sociales, este sesgo se manifiesta cuando el acceso inmediato a la información se confunde con la comprensión sistémica de un tema. Mientras que los expertos suelen experimentar el sesgo inverso —asumiendo erróneamente que lo que es fácil para ellos también lo es para los demás—, el individuo afectado por el Dunning-Kruger carece del rigor y criterio necesario para someter sus propias premisas a la verificación constante, insistiendo en que ellos tienen la razón.
La arquitectura del rigor exige el reconocimiento de las propias limitaciones como paso fundamental para la búsqueda de la verdad. La ausencia de este filtro crítico satura el ecosistema digital con afirmaciones categóricas carentes de sustento, erosionando la integridad profesional de información y convirtiendo la ignorancia en una herramienta de desinformación activa.
