2月24日、ジャーナリスト保護委員会（CPJ）が世界中のジャーナリスト殺害に関する2025年報告書を発表しました。30年以上前にデータ収集を開始以来、過去最多の129人に達しています。また、2025年にイスラエル国防軍（IDF）の砲撃で死亡したジャーナリストとメディア関係者は86人、世界全体の3分の2を占め、その60%以上はガザ地区から報道していたパレスチナ人でした。
