I’ve been having issues with the official Mastodon iOS app for a while now, maybe since iOS 26. Images not loading, feed not refreshing, reach the bottom of the feed and the spinning wheel never stops/loads. Profile pages not scrolling correctly. I finally switched over to #Metatext and it seems to be working much better. Anyone else having issues? #Mastodon #iOS

Tooi a text-based user interface for Mastodon, Pleroma and friends. The name is a portmanteau of toot and TUI.
Too is a re-implementation of the TUI included with toot using the modern and more powerful Textual framework.

Mastodonでの、画像altの更新が想像以上に難航。capsicumの作業をしていたはずが、モロヘイヤを経て、Mastodon本体にまで話が及び。
一旦Misskeyのみ対応とし、Mastodon対応は先送りした。
話をややこしくしている色々な要因があり。
・Mastodonにはドライブがない。投稿と無関係な、独立した画像が存在しない。
・モロヘイヤは、投稿本文の更新を拒絶する。本文末尾のハッシュタグ等、どうしても本文更新を行う時には手順を踏む必要あり。
・Mastodon APIは、PUTでも更新分だけでなく、全体を送り直す必要がある。（傾向がある）
PUTの制約が特にきつくて、一旦クールダウンする為に、今夜は一旦中断。
画像のaltを更新する機会なんて滅多にないのに、明らかにコストが過大になってるというかw
ちょっとズルだけど、モロヘイヤでSQLを解禁すると（既に使ってる）少しラクができるはず。
