I've been saying it for a minute, yelled at some on #mastodon. Same for #waymo, it is safer, the cars just drive better. It is not all the #AI, some of it is lidar and networks that allow the AI to see many blocks/many miles ahead.
This is the first industrial #killerapp of the #AI era, but more are coming for manufacturing jobs. And yes, if you are any kind of spreadsheet jockey like a medical coder, or a monkey developer (you convert a spec to a language) do worry!

I have to be so careful with my filter settings because there are things I don't want popping up on my home feed at random, but I don't want to exclude people casually talking about specific topics. I don't like seeing inflation art, but if I filter the word "inflation" or "inflate" then my home page can't show me a cool time lapse of a bouncy castle blowing up or something, idk
Word filters are very useful and better most of the time, but I think we should be able to do the same to specific hashtags without filtering the words within them.

Auch wenn ich gerne mehr Zeichen hätte, bevorzuge ich Mastodon + diese Instanz. Für mich ist Mastodon genau das richtige, weil z.B. das Aufblinken von Post in anderen Angboten des Fediverses nichts für meine Augen ist + ich die Einfachheit mag.
Für den 1 Menschen ist dieses + für 1 anderen jenes das richtige "Werkzeug", um im Fediverse aktiv zu sein. Gestehen wir es ihnen einfach zu, wenn uns z.B. Akzeptanz wichtig ist.
