Wusstet ihr, dass im Fediverse eure Daten nicht irgendwo in einem Rechenzentrum in Übersee verschwinden? Die laufen auf dem Server von jemandem, dem ihr (hoffentlich) einigermaßen vertraut – oft sogar einer kleinen Community. Klingt erstmal seltsam, ist aber eigentlich das Normalste der Welt. So wie früher E-Mail. Nur mit mehr Katzenbildern. 🐱

Awesome! An accidental test of my profile header image automation's failure mode is a success!
I made a typo in my keyword url pairs for header images. It successfully set my header to the failed download fallback image. I used the PS2 error screen as the error header. It still looks good, but is an obvious indicator to me that it broke.
Mastodon has been the most fun social platform as far as interacting with the platform itself. I love that automations work.

#GlitchySocial #Mastodon instance has 5 users now, including me. Only one of them never logged in after registration. It took a blink of an eye to transfer from “hey, I should try to #selfhost a Mastodon instance” to “hey, I’m a service provider now”. Can’t say I’ve got much power but responsibility for sure.

🤔 Also ist das Gegenteil von wokeness gar nicht #Fleischkäse und hemmungsloser Heterosex, sondern mehr sowas wie der Elefant im Porzelanladen.
