e mi sono partiti un pò di pensieri sparsi.....alla fine del 2022 ho scoperto il #Fediverso creando un account su #Peertube e dopo poco ho iniziato ad usare #Mastodon
Da li a pochi mesi ho voluto provare un altro software per cui ho cambiato istanza e sono approdato a #Foxyhole che attualmente utilizza Misskey.
Ancora soddisfatto della scelta.

A museum has opened its doors to boffins in the buff where punters will learn about history in the nude.
Naturists are being welcomed with open arms to stroll historic exhibitions in their birthday suits.
The private viewing event costs £25 a head with a glass of wine available on the door.
Dorset Museum and Art Gallery will host the viewing for the second year in a row.
Located in Dorchester, Dorset, the building is home to 250 million years of natural history.
Changing rooms will be available for naturists to strip off upon arrival.
Dorset Museum is hosting a naked history night for naturists, offering private access to exhibits, wine, and 250 million years of natural history for £25 a ticket.
Lockers will also be open for punters to store their clothes for the evening.
The event hosted by the museum has been put together by British Naturism.
Members of the nation’s leading nudist group will be able to snap up their tickets for just £20.
The event will take place from 6pm till 9pm (2 Aug), as reported by Need To Know...

Meanwhile I mostly use @mastofeed to post #RSS feeds to Mastodon. If there is no feed, I have some php scripts at hand, which let me turn most news websites to a feed for #Mastofeed, like @lkbh_news

Tengo entendido que en #mastodon existe esa función llamada #notapersonal donde cada vez que visitas un perfil se le puede agregar una nota que es propia, solo yo puedo verla y además he escuchado mucha gente la usa para saber cómo o porqué sigue el perfil en cuestión.
El tema es que me quedé pensando si esa sería su única función o su tiene alguna otra, y a raíz de eso pensé si no sería interesante que esa nota tuviera como posibilidad la función la de poder agregar automáticamente el perfil a una lista ya creada.
Algo así como llego a un nuevo perfil de noticias que me interesa seguir, en la nota personal agrego algo cómo «Perfil noticias de Abya Yala desde una ideología anarquista» y que dentro de esa descripción hubiera una manera para guardar el perfil en una lista, que por ejemplo podría ser «Noticias», que yo ya tengo creada y así resumir el proceso.

**Dip in the Nip: What a naked swim taught me about body image**

Tara Povey writes about taking part in the Dip in the Nip, a thrilling event that raises funds for the Hope Cancer Support Centre in Wexford, and what it taught her about being comfortable in your body.
I moved to Rosslare three years ago and every year I heard tales of the Dip in the Nip. I didn't know much about it, just that a bunch of women gathered on the beach at 7am, tossed off their clothes and raced into the sea, completely nude, roaring battle cries at the top of their lungs. It sounded sort of witchy to me, so I knew I had to get involved.
The women’s Dip in the Nip is organised by local health and fitness guru Eileen Rowe as a fundraiser for Hope Cancer Support Centre in Wexford. The Hope Centre provides a variety of free cancer support services including counselling, massage, prosthesis/bra fitting and children’s counselling for local Wexford residents.
Eileen cites the loss of her aunt to cancer as the catalyst for creating the event. But beyond that, Eileen has always been passionate about the sea and bringing women together: "If you can help people feel empowered and raise money for cancer it’s a win win for everybody. It’s a life-changing experience! You’re not the same person after doing the dip, it’s just magic!"
Sunday July 20 marked the 11th year of the Dip in the Nip in Rosslare and my very first year joining the ranks of these incredible women.
My friend, Kate, has been doing the Dip for years and finally talked me into joining her. If I’m being honest it didn’t take much convincing: the older I get the less I care about being naked and the more I understand the importance of sisterhood...
