hi hello I think I'm dumb. I can't get #Mastodon #verification to work.
I've copied the `rel="me"` link from the verification page in my profile to my website (I can see it when I inspect the deployed code too) and I have added the link to said website to my profile.
is there something I am missing?
- http vs https, does it matter?
- does the link need to go to a particular .html? or is base domain fine?
- does it take a couple days? (I've been trying for two days now tho...)

We've successfully upgraded our Mastodon server to v4.5.0-alpha.2+mementomods-2025-08-05 with some minor Mastodon software updates.
This upgrade includes the latest today's daily build, so everything should be as up to date as possible.
