The image viewer in Mastodon v4.4 is in some areas improved but the scrolling behaviour itself is worse than in v4.3. Scrolling input should take effect immediately with minimal delay. It never needs damping. Currently it’s just irritatingly sluggish. Ideally momentum should be retained when the user suddenly lifts up their finger (which is achieved for free if you let the system and the browser handle it).

The news is devastating and what’s coming may be the darkest chapter since the war began.
All of Gaza is being sacrificed, along with those who still remain, just to serve certain political ambitions. The deal has collapsed. The negotiations are over. And now, we are entering the cruelest, most merciless phase. The result? Death, death, and more death.
