My favo(u)rite part of #Mastodon is that I can scroll and read the first 5 words of a post and say, "No, I don't want to read that," and then keep scrolling to the next Nope, to repeat as before. But I hold out hope that one of these will be a Yep. That's what keeps me going.

I mean, dunking culture isn't new, it's just not really on #Fedi, that I'm aware of. And the people working on #Mastodon want to try and prevent said dunking culture from creeping in.
My point is: it just doesn't work as a good preventative measure. It's a simple courtesy that can be easily ignored.
