Ich beginne dann mal mit den wichtigsten Aufräumarbeiten hier...
Währenddessen erzähle ich Euch noch eine Geschichte - die basiert lose auf imaginären Begebenheiten.
Es war einmal ein Jüngling, nennen wir ihn Duderich Erichsen.
Duderich hat viel Ehrgefühl und sieht es nicht gerne, wenn man ihm Dinge an den Kopf schmeißt, die zwar mutmaßlich wahr sind, er sich aber in seiner Ehre verletzt fühlt.
Duderich zeigt sich gerne als wirkungsvolle linke und antifaschistische Persönlichkeit. Er schreibt viel und gerne zu diesem Themen.
Nun begab es sich aber, dass Duderich eines Tages verbal von einer ebenfalls antifaschistischen Person verbal herausgefordert wurde, aber er wusste sich nicht mehr zu helfen und schrieb der königlichen Leibgarde eine Botschaft - oder es war einer seiner Jünger*innen. Das kann niemand mehr so genau wissen.
Man solle der aufmüpfigen Person zeigen wo der Hammer hängt.
Und die Leibgarde des Königs sah, dass es endlich wieder auf eine Antifa, so nannten sich diese aufmüpfigen Personen, einprügeln konnte.
So machen sie sich auf dem Weg zum besetzten Haus der Stadt, traten die Türe ein und verängstigten den Besitzer so sehr, dass er sich gezwungen sah, nachdem er mit vorgehaltener Waffe die Informationen zu dem gesuchten Schwerverbrecher - so hieß es - das Haus abzufackeln.
Was lernen wir daraus?
Keine Ahnung, aber ich kann den Duderich nach dieser Geschichte auch echt nicht mehr leiden.

I also read that Mastodon server https://lgbtqia.space/ is no longer accessible to users in the UK. I know it’s not perfect, but #Mastodon is still proving to be a breath of fresh air for me.
Having ditched FB, Insta, Threads and that place, I thought I’d got rid of anxiety-inducing social media. Bluesky is starting to produce that for me, and in a way, LinkedIn too.
I definitely do not regret signing up to Mastodon.

I'm going to bet it'll take a year or more before native quote toots work across all the many mastodon clients.
For some slow projects I don't expect them to work ever.
They don't work not even in the official native android app yet. So there's nothing on android that shows them. You see the quote as a standalone toot without the original toot, link nor anything that makes you aware the text is quoting something.
(I repeat NATIVE quote toots, not the standardised hack across clients of using "RE: link to the toot")
