One feature that I wish Mastodon had is the ability to create lists of accounts without having to actually follow them.
Another is group accounts. Since Lemmy doesn't seem to be thriving, it just makes sense for Mastodon to add that functionality!

I have a feeling this talk on Informational Autocracy would be interesting to anyone who follows the work of @pluralistic, or anyone who understands, like @tomatospy, @thegrugq, @riskybusiness, et al, that the greatest risk of #TikTok is not surveillance, but control of the public narrative.
Ultimately, this is what #chatControl and other such laws are for: to deny an exit from state-aligned corporate media and communications, towards #Mastodon and the broader #fediverse, towards @signalapp, and towards any other channel of remote information sharing not subject to oligarch control.

A statue in Thailand. I was standing near this glorious sight when a green, poisonous snake fell from the trees and scurried off. I heard the tree canopy become noisy. I looked up and saw the snake plummet to the ground yards away. Our guide said it was one of the deadliest snakes. In my novel, The Fifth Seduction, a snake falls on the head of a reality TV show host everyone hates and wraps around his neck. Interesting. I can link to any post I want to, but I'm blocked from quote-posting anything I try to.
I think the quote post link should be removed from the boost link. There should not be a drop-down to piss me off whenever I want to boost a post, causing 2 clicks and making me want to be on some other service.
When my server goes to 4.5.0, I'm changing its behavior.
Are we counting clicks? What is the purpose of pissing people off? The implementation is bullshit.
