Da die Welle uns auch gerade erfasst, wir schreiben da auch drüber anstatt es zu ignorieren und mit anderen Meldungen zu überlagern.
Gegen Palantir kann man Hürden setzen.
Das funktioniert so wie gegen Cyberkriminelle.
Leute, die Palantir promoten Zeitfresser ans Bein binden, Gespräche, Rückfragen, in der Zeit wird nichts verkauft.
Ein sicheres Betriebssystem wie Linux ist schwerer zu überwachen als Windows. In der Folge steigen die Kosten, um die Effizienz von Palantir zu gewährleisten.
Gegen die Chatkontrolle sein.
Gleichzeitig Messenger und Mails mit maximaler Verschlüsselung verwenden. Erste Unternehmen rühmen sich mit Quantencomputer resistenter Verschlüsselung. Entschlüsseln ist so teuer, dass es niemand ernsthaft probiert. Billiger ist die Chatkontrolle mit Client Side Scanning, also Überwachung des Gerätes.
Hier wieder der Querverweis, bei Windows geht das wie mit Copilot ziemlich einfach, bei Linux oder Custom ROM Android nicht, die Kosten für die Entwicklung steigen.
Die Guerillataktik gegen Hacking ist, Palantir ist dann eig auch nichts anderes als ein Staatstrojaner, die gesetzliche Hürde und Preise so hoch zu treiben, dass sich das wirtschaftlich nicht lohnt.
Palantir müsste Verkaufspreis und Support hochsetzen, Behörden muss das zu teuer werden.
Neben hohen Kosten sinkt auch die Angriffschance durch hunderte Linuxvarianten, weil sich Leute weigern würden das zu installieren und gegen ihren Willen eine Schwachstelle ausnutzen ist in D a) illegal und b) aufgrund der Vielfalt immer nur eine kleine Gruppe, was zu mehr Entwicklung und höheren Kosten führt.
Dann sollten wir so viele Datenbanken wie möglich, z.B. ePAs, von amerikanischen Clouds holen.
Das ist in ungefähr so, als würde man die Schlüssel von VW Golfs nachmachen. Jeder andere VW, und jede andere Marke, die ein anderes System hat, bleibt zu.
Neben dem aufmerksamen Lesen kann das jeder privat tun und dafür auf der Arbeit, bei Familie, Freunden und Vereinen und allen, an die gedacht werden soll, werben.

Well, it seems like this Guardian og:image not loading issue has stalled again and dropped off the radar of the #Mastodon devs. I've put a fix in, but now it seems to have been pushed down to page 2 on the Issues and Pull Request lists. If anyone wants their links to The Guardian to load preview images on their Mastodon instance, can you please comment here that you want this fixed so that the moderators know to actually make it a priority?
