Y qué cojones. ¿No pagáis una entrada de cine sabiendo que en un par de meses la película la vais a tener disponible en tropocientas plataformas de streaming que con lo que te cuesta la entrada de cine pagas un mes?
Esas personas que quieren (y pueden contribuir con) que esas cosas se sigan haciendo, que se sigan manteniendo. Las que quieren que su instancia perdure y se mantenga, y pueden ayudar. Las que quieren que se siga haciendo buen cine, y pueden ayudar. Las que quieren que las buenas obras sigan teniendo cabida en este mundo, y pueden ayudar. Y en mi caso, esas personas que quieren que yo siga haciendo divulgación científica, y pueden ayudar.
Querer y poder. El campo de intersección de esos dos conjuntos es el que tiene la clave en esto. Esas personas que saben que pueden aportar, y lo hacen con gusto.

A while ago, I noticed that the media storage of my Mastodon server was close to using up my entire hard drive on this server, so I started running tootctl media remove --days=7 in a daily cron job.
I thought, naively, that the deleted media would be re-fetched the next time I viewed it. But it seems like posts with deleted media are just permanently broken; even my own boosts from over a week ago have broken images now.
Is there any way to fix this? Or are my local copies of those posts broken for good?
