I love it when people judge me based on outdated info that other Mastodon instances don't bother to immediately update because of "caching". Just Open original page to see how I've recently updated my profile info and more (I update like every 1-2 weeks). It's not that hard.
It's 2025, not 2010.
No excuses for intentional obtuseness. I am now adding in a Last updated date and a disclaimer. #Mastodon

I see some problems for people who are not brand, like me. Do I help webscrapers by making their work easier in providing good alt txt for pictures for free : yes/no.
If no, how are my toots protected from webscrapers (google scraps them for sure, as per settings)?

「メール通知」の設定を見たら、一番下に「常にメール通知を送信する」があって、それはチェックしてない。そこには「通常、Mastodon からメール通知は行われません。」と書いてあった。
では、どのような時に通知されるのかまでは書いてないけれど、今回「メール通知」が届いたような状態で行われるのかもしれない。

フォローされた時、Webで「通知」で確認することが多くて、そこで確認したらメール通知は届かないのかな？
今回は停止されたアカウントからのフォローで、Webの「通知」には無いから、メール通知が届いたとか…。「Bridgy Fed for Bluesky」からのフォローは、引っ越しによる自動的なフォローではなく、引っ越し前に予めこちらからフォローしておいて、そのフォローバックだったから、通知が届いたのかもしれない。Webの「通知」には「フォローされました」がなくて、ブリッジされていることを知らせるメンションが届いているだけ。
引っ越しで自動的にフォローされたアカウントは「ひとりネズミさんとほか46人にフォローされました」とまとめて表示されてる。
まとめると、「メール通知」が届くのはWebの「通知」に表示されなかったアカウントだけか？

「メール通知」で「フォローされた時」にチェックしてあるのだけど、これまでは通知が来なかったような気がする。
それで、さっき見たら通知が届いていて、通知が届くように設定していたことを思い出した。ただ、通知が届いたアカウントは「停止されています」となってた。
あっ、削除したメールの一覧から検索したら「Bridgy Fed for Bluesky」からのフォローは通知が届いてた。引っ越し時に自動的にフォローされたアカウント。それ以外の通知はない。
引っ越しで大量にフォローされるような状況だったから一時的に通知が停止されていたのかな？
