A tan solo horas del lanzamiento oficial del nuevo navegador ChatGPT Atlas, OpenAI enfrenta serias alertas de seguridad. Expertos en ciberseguridad han detectado vulnerabilidades que permiten a atacantes engañar al "modo agente" del navegador para realizar ataques de phishing mediante enlaces maliciosos.
¿Qué se sabe hasta ahora?
Diversos informes y análisis de seguridad revelan que existe la posibilidad de aprovechar estos fallos para manipular el modo "agente" del navegador, que está diseñado para automizar tareas y navegar en nombre del usuario. En concreto, los ataques se centran en técnicas de "inyección de prompts" (prompt injection), que pueden hacer que el agente copie enlaces de phishing, que luego podrían ser utilizados para robar credenciales o infectar sistemas con malware.
Riesgos y medidas
OpenAI ha reconocido estos riesgos y está trabajando en solucionar estos problemas, pero hasta ahora los expertos alertan que la tecnología aún presenta vulnerabilidades importantes, especialmente frente a ataques sofisticados. Las fallas permiten simular acciones maliciosas mediante manipulación de instrucciones y engaños que impactan directamente en la seguridad y privacidad de los usuarios.

🤔…Fascinating that @kkarhan claims sponsors & corporate contributors will “never get involved” with an #AGPLv3 codebase by *using* an AGPLv3 codebase — namely #Mastodon — to make these false claims.
Plenty of people getting sponsored & are starting businesses around Mastodon (including @mastohost, which I use), & Donald Trump himself — Truth Social is a (now) AGPLv3 compliant fork of Mastodon.
Perhaps Google+ would be a replacement for Mastodon you'd prefer?
