If you don't want to find yourself in a position where you are no longer able to control your personal data that has been orphaned on other #Mastodon instances, you might want to make some noise about this.

Here's where it gets interesting.
Any post I sent last night that was visible to users on other instances remains there.
I can't delete it, because I can't see it on my instance. Auto-delete won't delete it either, for the same reason.
In terms of people's ability to control their data, this is a problem. It affects all #Mastodon users.
It's also a problem Mastodon has known about since December 2022, when I sent them a suggested fix: https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/22154
Which they ignored, as usual.

Mastodonでは、仮に第三者が勝手に設定を追加しても、検証がなされていないMastodonアカウントは著者としての表示がなされないような仕組みになっています。
Mastodonでの検証は、「プロフィール」の設定画面の「検証」のセクションにある「著者の帰属」にWebページのドメインを追加することで設定できます。

「いしい さんの投稿をもっと読む」とこちらのアカウントへのリンクがあるけど、これがそうなのか？
「Mastodonの外でニュースやブログなどを執筆しているユーザーは、Mastodonで自分の記事が共有されたときに著者情報を表示させることができます。」
とのことで、
「あなたの著者表示を許可するwebサイト」に＠長文と＠試行錯誤のドメインを入れてあるのだけど…。
「この設定は関わりのないwebサイトに対して虚偽の帰属表示が行われることを防止する役割があります。」とのことだけど、ちゃんと理解してない。
