One thing that miss on #mastodon, and fediverse as a whole, to allow it to reach a new level in "decentralization" is to allow to have some sort of "email like" server
So user can self host at home, those email like server only retain the profile on the person an their X last message, and maintain a list of incomming message that are retained X day, so even if the server self hosted go offline an hour or two, it do not disapear
That would also reduce HEAVILY, the space necessary runing server

Voilà ! Nous sommes passés à la version 4.5.0 de Mastodon.
Principale nouveauté : la possibilité de citer des publications. Pour l'exemple, je me cite moi-même ci-dessous, et je vous invite à lire la publication initiale si ce n'est déjà fait.
Ainsi :
- Quand vous voulez "booster" une publication, vous aurez le choix de la booster ou citer (boost en rajoutant un message, comme ici), sauf si son auteur ne l'a pas permis.
- Vous pourrez choisir pour chaque publication, avec sa visibilité, si vous voulez qu'elle soit citable ou non.
- Vous pourrez choisir dans vos paramètres de profil si vos publications sont citables par défaut.
- Vous aurez une notification à chaque fois qu'une de vos publications sera citée, et vous pourrez la retirer de la citation a posteriori si vous le souhaitez.

both #pixelfed and #mastodon could offer a true gallery mode which enables you to browse next and previous image in a feed or "chosen bundle" with just keyboard. right arrow, left arrow, space for "favorite", "d" for download :))
