And yes, I can fake them (obviously), but I also know that using unicode character trickery like that makes the words hard-to-impossible for the visually impaired, people doing screen readers and the like, so as much as I would love to 𝑜𝑐𝑐𝑎𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 whip out a fancy font thing for 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐇𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐒, I also know that it's unkind and I am only doing it here to drive home my point how useful some basic formatting would be

10 punktów migracji konta #Mastodon, wersja 0.1:
0. Ważne: bakapujesz sobie wszystko ze starego, wszystkie listy, generujesz i pobierasz archiwum wpisów: Ustawienia -> Import/Eksport.
1. Wybierasz nową instancję.
2. Zakładasz na niej konto.
3. Ustawiasz na nowym alias, żeby przyjął ze starego: Ustawienia -> Konto -> Ustawienia konta -> Przenoszenie z innego konta
4. Na starym: Ustawienia -> Konto -> Ustawienia konta -> Przenieś konto
5. Czekasz, to potrwa.
6. Sprawdzasz, co się poustawiało a co nie, awatar, bio, linki itd. Różnie bywa.
7. Część obserwujących ciebie się nie przeniesie, liczba będzie mniejsza niż na starym. Serwery, które padły, martwe konta, itd.
8. Stare konto i stare tuty zostaną na starym serwerze, przejdzie w inny tryb, przyblokowany (można kiedyś wyłączyć, ale wyłączy to również "przekierowanie", wskazanie na nowe, więc raczej później niż wcześniej).
9. Jeśli logowałaś się do innych usług profilem pol.social, to może być kłopot z dalszym logowaniem (PeerTube, Matrix, NCH).
10. Cieszysz się z nowego profilu :)
Piszę z głowy, ale przenosiłem się tyle razy, że mam chyba już pamięć mięśniową wyrobioną ;)
Jak by coś nie poszło, możesz zawsze odwrócić.

The one thing currently irritating me about the quote post feature is that even if you are following an account from a limited instance, you can't see their quote posts of their own toots when you logically should--
Needs to be fixed! I can understand if one has the instance personally blocked or admins have fully defederated from that user's instance, but shouldn't this take into account one's following/followers and their visibility on one's timeline at that?
