#mastodon is too much siloed :( and moreover, with too few people :(
It works like organising our helplessness.
I observe it regularly. We can't easily have access to the entire fediverse, constantly we must look the global thread, from several instances, and this "siloify feature" is for me bullshit.
Solutions:
- find more contacts, from "far" servers
- contact people who defend Palestine in the global thread
- use search
- do this in many languages...

That being said, I'm also grateful for this janky little community that we've built out of chicken wire and duct tape called #Mastodon. It's lovely and rivals the commercial socials backed with a lot of money. However, it's important that we keep it going.
