In defense of the #Lurker (what you might see people as, in and out of the #Fediverse)
#Mastodon #Interaction is needed REGULARLY to filter everyone into doing something instead of playing games / ignoring each other / 1-way posts.
Picture is to show people are not as inviting or involving others as they could be online... dispelling fear and incrementing trust is the way to go else we have stagnation / non-participation #Mastodon as we have today.

In Gaza, we lived through days we never imagined we would survive because of the war. This has left us exhausted both mentally and physically until this very moment.

One of the interesting things about Mastodon's hashtag-based environment is that older posts seem much more likely to be revived than at the other place (not that I've been there for years);
I've recently seen posts over a year old (in one case nearly three years old) suddenly pop up in my notifications & regain a little traction (a sort of glimmer across time).
Not sure why Masto prompts such revivals but its interesting nonetheless... not least as it reminds me of things I said!
