All the seemingly endless concerns about quoting posts on #Mastodon sure seem to have turned into a nothing burger. And the quote "approval" system seems to introduce useless long delays in making posts readable more than anything else.

So the network interface for my instance VM died this morning, and it took an hour until I could assign a new one. Basically, my instance was offline for approximately an hour.
Now, as I scroll my timeline, a few users that I follow from other instances don’t have profile images and such.
How does one fix that, or will it just catch up on its own?

Sie haben zwei #Mastodon Accounts, von denen einer wohl eine Totgeburt war. Der andere hat selbst während des #OB #Wahlkampfs 22 Tage lang keinen Tröt abgesetzt.
