When I think about #usability and #ux of #Mastodon, the most unintuitive part to learn was how to deal with links to other instances. Pretty much everything else was pretty obvious from years of using similar big company services, but when presented with a link to other instance, I'm just seeing the post and the login screen. What to do when I want to see that post but in the instance I'm using? Pasting the URL into the search field required reading the manual.

Questioning about the Future of BikersGo.Social, I love using Sharkey and everything but I seem to be the only one that uses the instance and I've been lately focused on my more professional account @sam@break3.social for my business things. I still post up a bit of personal things up but I only really find myself coming back here to find things that I might want to respond to instead of just following it on that account directly and saving myself money in times of need.
