✅ Wrapstodon – The annual review of your posts. From December 10–31, users receive a notification inviting them to generate their annual report. Each user gets an "archetype" (like The Oracle, The Archer, etc.) based on their posting behavior. Reports come with shareable URLs.
✅ Dedicated user preferences for theme mode & contrast (Dec 19) – New settings for light/dark mode and contrast preferences.
✅ Media modal improvements – Smoother scrolling; prevents swiping when zoomed in.
✅ Privacy and reach settings moved – Now located in top-level navigation instead of under "Public profile."
✅ Improved search menu keyboard navigation.
✅ Mobile admin sidebar fix – No longer displays under the batch table toolbar.
✅ Vertical video handling – Prevents videos from overflowing the viewport.
✅ Emoji system overhaul (backend changes).
✅ Quote post refinements – Filters now properly apply to quotes in detailed view; quote-related fixes and stability improvements.
✅ Numerous admin and performance fixes.

Mementomori.social-specific improvements
✅ Autoplay video muted.
✅ Let it snow – Snowflakes now start earlier and finish after Christmas, turning into confetti for New Year’s.

This update includes today's latest daily build, so everything is as up to date as possible. The version also brings minor UI improvements.

For the brave, Mastodon Bird UI 4.0.0-alpha.0 is still a work in progress in the branch dev-build-system-css-theme-tokens. It's not stable or officially released yet, but we're getting close:

Hoy se celebra Witchmas.

El término Witchmas ha ganado popularidad dentro de las comunidades paganas modernas como una forma de reapropiarse de la narrativa de la temporada invernal, fusionando la raíz "Witch" (bruja) con la estructura de "Christmas".

Esta denominación no busca sustituir la solemnidad de Yule, sino subrayar que muchas de las tradiciones actuales de la Navidad —como el árbol decorado, el uso del acebo, el muérdago e incluso el intercambio de regalos— tienen un origen estrictamente pagano y precristiano. Al utilizar el término Witchmas, se hace una referencia directa al renacimiento del Dios Sol y al poder de la Diosa como generatriz de la vida, devolviendo el enfoque a la magia de la tierra y los ciclos naturales que fueron la base original de estas festividades.

Para muchos, es una manera de celebrar el solsticio de invierno reclamando el simbolismo de Yule y las noches de aquelarre, integrando la estética contemporánea con la espiritualidad antigua. Es, en esencia, un recordatorio de que bajo la capa de la festividad moderna, late el pulso del solsticio y la antigua religión de la naturaleza.

☕️ El café con mermelada acompaña este amanecer de solsticio, un pequeño rito dulce para recibir el día donde la luz comienza su retorno.

Hoy celebramos Yule, la noche más larga del año y el momento sagrado en que la Diosa da a luz al Dios Sol, asegurando el renacimiento de la vida. Es tiempo de reunión, una noche de aquelarre donde nos unimos para honrar el giro de la rueda, encendiendo velas que simbolizan la chispa divina que vuelve a crecer desde la oscuridad. En la tradición pagana, este punto de inflexión nos invita a dejar atrás lo viejo y sembrar las semillas de lo que florecerá con la primavera.

Feliz solsticio de invierno para todos.

searching "from:me" brings up my posts, she searching " ⁨# WritersCoffeeClub⁩" (without the space cause i don't wanna clog up the actual tag with this post) brings up other people's posts to the hashtag

But when i combine both queries i get no results even though i KNOW ive posted to this hashtag before.

EDIT: searching from:me works with # anime and # writing, but not the hashtag above

What gives? What can i do about it? Why can't i find my old posts?
