On #mastodon I see many people criticizing #ai but I think they’re being distracted from the real #problem. The problem is never the technology itself, but how it’s used. The #lobby of #billionaire #dictators is abusing AI, hiding—though not even that well—its #antisocial and anti-democratic plans. We have to fight the real #threat, the real fire, not the smoke that blinds us.

Das gute alte #konkretmagazin ist ab Januar 2026 nur noch als ePaper zu haben - die Druckausgabe wird eingestellt.
Die Tippfehler in der Anleitung zur Kontoerstellung und die Tatsache, dass #konkret weiterhin ausschließlich auf die asozialen Medien Twitter und Facebook (statt auf #Mastodon) und nun auch auf die Stores von Google und Apple (statt auf #FDroid) setzt, lassen Schlechtes ahnen.
Digitale Kompetenz im Jahr 2025 sieht anders aus.

Я, конечно, не люблю #авторское #право и пусть все пиарятся и зарабатывают друг на друге, но... НО. Они похожи ведь, правда? И там, и там #буква M; #хобот различим на обеих логотипах, а #дизайн шрифта лишь немного отличается (кстати, а что это за #шрифт ?)

There was an interesting popup poll in Firefox today - they ask people about their usage of tech tools and feelings about AI and yes, there was an option to say "I think there should be no AI in a browser". Hope a lot of Mastodon users take it!
