Are other people experiencing a flood of #bots to their #Mastodon servers difficult to distinguish from genuine users?
It started about 3 weeks ago.
What I have observed: 1) coming from residential IP addresses, 2) performing a single request to some random asset, 3) user agent identifying as Chrome from a couple of years ago, never a very recent version, and 4) working in clusters of 4 to 10, usually all sharing the user agent id.

Ah this is GREAT. I'd heard about this:
I had heard that Mastodon had eventually changed, so that you can see or follow or interact with I think anything/anyone you want to - the 'instance' 'server' thing chosen by people doesn't matter. And you can also change the one you've chosen if you desire.
I am finding this to be how it sounds, as far as I can tell. Content pops up and I can interact, follow, whatever - even if the user is on whatever different instance/server thingy.👍👍

🤔 Charlando con un amigo y ex compañero de la radio, me ha sugerido qué tal vez sea conveniente de vez en cuando por aquí contarles toda una suerte de anécdotas que me han pasado a lo largo de ya más de una década en esto del podcasting y la locución ( tal vez lo sepan o tal vez no, pero yo inicié primero como invitado en varios programas y podcast desde más o menos el 2006 e hice mi propio podcast en el 2012, programa que evolucionó rápidamente en un programa de radio, el cual se transmitió en diversas estaciones y duró hasta el 2024).
Digamos que sería narrar anécdotas de las historias y vivencias, algunas curiosas, algunas cómicas y algunas más de otras índoles que pasaron detrás del microfono ¿ les resulta de su interés o creen que no debería hacerlo?
