#Linkedin is opting their users in to their #AI #training starting November. To opt out go to Settings > Data Privacy and #switch off the "Use my data for training content creation AI models" selection. Check later if it stays off.

@tomgag Interesting side note: I posted about this a month or so ago. Someone from Europe contacted me. Their country protects them from such data theft and they were not opted in. In fact, AI scraping wasn't even an option. I believe this is only happening to US LinkedIn accounts. I agree with you, if you use LinkedIn, turn it off!

Remember, if something is free, you are the product (except for #opensource products). Here we go again. This is another very good example of how closed source products handle privacy and data usage. This is why I advocate for #digitalsovereignty, which can only be achieved with open source solutions.
