Anche Linkedin comincia a percorrere lo scivoloso sentiero: vuole addestrare i modelli di intelligenza artificiale con i nostri dati. Lo farà dal 3 novembre, con un aggiornamento della privacy policy annunciata qualche giorno fa. Una via che anche Meta vorrebbe seguire, ma che per ora ha bloccato dopo la grandinata di proteste e richieste di chiarimenti da parte delle autorità europee.

Auf #LinkedIn hat mich jemand angeschrieben. Sie hat ein eigenes Unternehmen, dass sich darauf spezialisiert hat, den Unternehmens-#Sharepoint zu optimieren.
Soweit legit.
Allerdings arbeite ich im Bereich #OpenSource und #Linux. Das ist beides soweit voneinander entfernt, dass unser gemeinsamer Schnittpunkt vermutlich bei "wir arbeiten" liegt...

Users are rightly frustrated with the change, biggest concern isn't business networking platform will do so, but that it's set to be enabled by default, with users instead having to actively #optout. Users can choose to opt out via the 'data for generative AI improvement' setting, however it will only apply to data collected after they opt out, with data up until that point still retained within training environment.

Je komt even niet op #LinkedIn en bam, ze gaan hun AI trainen met mijn data, ténzij ik het reeds ingevulde vakje uitvink. Zo werkt dat niet, #BigTech. In de #EU mag alleen een opt in voor potentieel #privacy schendende instellingen.
