Madison Avenue - 2023
Ad Exec 1: Candy sales are down. People are eating healthier. I don't know what to do about it.
Ad Exec 2: I hear ya. Croc sales are down too, people want high quality footwear they can wear at the office. I'm stumped too.
Ad Exec 3: Who gives a s***?! You both just gave me the best idea to increase billings!

2025:

Ga jij ook van #LinkedIn af na de zoveelste instelling die met jouw data aan de haal gaat? (deze keer is het #AI)

Ben al weg! 😎
Jazeker, al begonnen
Hmm, niet zeker
Nee, ik heb het écht écht nodig

on November 3, LinkedIn begins sharing whatever they find laying around with their "affiliates", which of course includes Microsoft, and thus it's affiliates; good idea to review privacy options on LinkedIn to control what you wish to share... #LinkedIn linkedin.com/help/linkedin/ans

It is not easy to delete your LinkedIn data without deleting your account, but it does make me creative 😈

If you plan on leaving LinkedIn you might want to show very clearly that you are not on LinkedIn anymore. See the profile screenshot as inspiration 😄

Hopefully this will encourage others to also say goodbye to LinkedIn.

Now I still have to inform 637 contacts & unfollow them. Trying to automate this.

Worst case: I'll inform and unfollow a few people every day.

Will leave before Nov 3rd.

Already objected against using my data for training purposes. After deceptive design, manipulations to force the app instead of a browser & annoying account verification practices this was the last straw.

Will keep my account, but redirect people to my site instead. Removing as much data as possible & informing contacts before removing them. Though only LinkedIn can answer the question if things are truly removed, I will try nonetheless.

#MS #Linkedin underhandedly feeds its #IA with your #data and refers to a fallacious argument to circumvent #GDPR

You can check and disable that sneaky option here:

#MS #Linkedin donne sournoisement vos #données en pâture à son #IA en invoquant un prétexte fallacieux pour contourner le #RGPD

Ça se désactive ici:
