I haven't done a very good scan of the JNews today but I'm 2 for 2 with fucked up topics so far...
"The #Jewish community in #Australia and far beyond was reminded of an uncomfortable truth, that #antisemitism, in some circles, is not a fireable offence. It is a branding inconvenience.
A #socialmedia post resurfaced in which #AndrewDimashki, a #realestate agent, referred to #Jews using the most toxic and grotesque tropes imaginable. In his now-public comment, he spoke of “money-hungry Jews,” mocked sacred Jewish sites, and referred to Jews as “child-murdering pigs.” The kind of language one expects to find in #Hamas Telegram channels, not from a suited agent on #LinkedIn.
The screenshot made the rounds online, drawing justified outrage. It was vile, yes, but also unmistakably clear. No ambiguity. No nuance. Just pure, unapologetic #bigotry.
The company employing him, Ray White, a recognizable real estate group, had a decision to make. And it made the wrong one."

An acquaintance from years ago just messaged me on LinkedIn to tell me he has been laid off from Intel, sent me his resumé, asked me if I had any job leads, and promised to follow up regularly. He's a good guy and I appreciate the hustle, but obliging your contacts to participate in your job search without their consent is a bit much.
Also, this acquaintance had been working for Intel for 13 years. Do not ever feel guilty for not feeling any sense of loyalty to your employer. They do NOT feel any sense of loyalty to you and will drop you like a hot potato if they think it will help their bottom line.

📰 Finance Execs Targeted in Sophisticated LinkedIn Phishing Scheme with Fake Board Invites
Sophisticated phishing on LinkedIn targets finance execs with fake board invites to steal Microsoft credentials. Attack uses Google redirects & Firebase to bypass security. 🎣 #Phishing #LinkedIn #CyberSecurity #Finance
#linkedin now has #contentcredentials, or in other words #nft. Wow, genius.
He visto algo en #LinkedIn que me ha gustado y no ha sido un post de @Paroxia
Habe gerade auf #LinkedIn gesehen, dass Christian Spanik von den DigiSauriern ein Interview mit Achim Becker von Data Becker plant. Freue mich riesig drauf.

Does anybody know anything about the company called “Persona”?
Tried to login to #LinkedIn today to delete my account. They asked for 2FA code which I no longer have access to since my phone was stolen. Then LinkedIn wanted me to verify my identity via using a service provided by #Persona which I need to provide various personal information, upload my ID and a live scan of my face. I don’t feel comfortable doing any all that.
I can’t even submit a support ticket without logging in!

“Bryan Follicle, Thought Leader, Serial Founder, Dad, Husband, Son:
Don’t let anyone tell you that your dreams are unattainable. By the time I was 14 I was a millionaire several times over. By the time I was 21, I was bankrupt. By the time I was 28, I was a billionaire. I’m now 34, and slightly nervous. Life is a journey. Travel well.
Vincent Vincenti, Global CEO, CFO, CTO, CMO and CHRO: Thank you, Bryan. This is so true.”
