Although I personally thoroughly dislike networking, it's necessary;
and since it's necessary, it is a disgrace to humanity that it should take place in private siloed platforms by default, and therefore be owned by them wholesale.
(and I've seen how badly #linkedin manipulate their users)
So: I believe the answer is yes. This is sorely needed.
