I work as Senior Solution Architect.
This year I needed to do a specific industry certification for senior consultants.
Surprisingly part of the certification package was also to show eminence in doing social media with evidence and examples of influencing posts.
I never thought 17 years ago when starting to use #linkedin that it would help me in my professional career.
The last three years in my large bubble of real (former) clients and (former) colleagues I shared business insights.

Sempre su LinkedIn un tale scrive con orgoglio che ha realizzato un video con tanto di audio, animazione e sceneggiature tramite una IA. Dovresti essere denunciato, visto che chiaramente questa operazione comporta la violazione di copyright di centinaia di artisti, ma la gente a complimentarsi!
Non hai menomazioni che ti impedirebbero di farlo tu. È più un dire: vedete ho fatto gratis qualcosa che mi sarebbe costato diverse migliaia di euro da pagare a professionisti.

LinkedIn è un posto fantastico. Ti scrivono "recruiter" che hanno lasciato il lavoro il giorno dopo che ti hanno inviato un messaggio con richiesta di CV e, tra l'altro, si sono spacciate per recruiter di una azienda ma non lavorano/lavoravano per quell'azienda. Bisogna fare molta attenzione. Forse cercano di fare del social engineering.

There is apparently a product manager at LinkedIn / Microsoft getting big bucks for coming up with different labels to put on their login and register buttons, not to mention changing the buttons' arrangement, size, and decorations. Because nothing says "user-friendly" more than making the buttons say something different every time you access a website!
(The non-English buttons were totally displayed on the English site, so I guess that's just a bug.)

Please try to convince me that IT hiring isn't broken.
When was the last time a potential employer actually told you why you wanted to work for them when contacting you out of the blue? Instead of you as the out-of-the-blue potential candidate be expected to do all the legwork?
Or the recruiter gave off the sensation that they actually read your LinkedIn profile and understood one's level of experience at least marginally?
Or the meaningless drivel masquerading as a job spec being more than a scatter gunned list of "skills" that make it easy to rule out candidates but not actually focus on the one important skill, namely - can this person actually deliver the goods?
But of course, we have "a shortage of experienced software people".

Sichtbar sind in #LinkedIn nur die Zeit der Ausbildung und letzten 10-15 Jahre in der IT und die Zeit des (Un)Ruhestands. Die Zeiten nach der Ausbildung incl. Militärdienst sind zusammengefasst.
