@digitalpardoe #Instagram abandoned photographers and image creators 5 years ago when they opened the door to reels in 2020.
You could argue that stories were the start, but, they still served a distinct alternative and mostly complimentary purpose to images by allowing for short temporary highlight sharing.
With Instagram already admitting that "followers don't matter" and giving you suggested content over followed content, still images will never have a mainstage on Instagram anymore.

Nach xxx Tagen ohne #Meta ( #Instagram #WhatsApp) gibt es hier gemischte Gefühle.
Hand aufs Herz,
ja es war eine gute und richtige Entscheidung aber manchmal fühl ich mich echt als würd ich den „Anschluss“ verlieren. Keine Stories und Fotos von Freunden zu sehen weil man dort nicht mehr ist. Auch wenn’s nur Kleinigkeiten sind die man dann einfach nicht mehr mitbekommt. 😢
