Franchement, les gens me fatiguent. Autant en 2007, quand je commençais à gueuler contre facebook, je pouvais comprendre les "lol t'es un ado en crise". Mais là , nous sommes en 2025, la plupart des gens SAVENT que sur instagram, l'homophobie c'est bien, que le racisme c'est bien... et continuent de s'en servir.
On va être honnête : à ce stade, ce ne sont plus des pigeons, c'est encore pire.

I updated ezdl, my #yt-dlp wrapper for downloading videos across sites like #YouTube, #Instagram, #TikTok, etc.
There were several improvements, but the biggest being it now supporting a proper #Python virtual environment OOTB during installation - so you no longer need to supply your own binaries/packages for the (Python) dependencies.
So no need to, say, install yt-dlp on your own off of #pip or #AUR or wtv - the installer handles it for you all in a Python virtual environment. This also makes it possible to install and run on immutable systems like #SteamOS - since your only requirement now is to have Python on your system (and Bash + #FFMPEG - but all of these should already be available).
If you wish for a simple way to download vids from just about anywhere, using a simple terminal-based UI instead of memorising long, complex commands.. you can check ezdl out :))

Maybe it's the people or hashtags* I'm following but my Mastodon experience is that I increasingly see #Instagram posts.
I wonder if the people sharing these realize that without an account their photos are not visible (depending on the device it's even worse than Twitter). If not it feels kinda rude to share it to this mostly open ecosystem.
