Doveva essere una vacanza indimenticabile, e in effetti lo è, ma per motivi assolutamente impensabili fino a pochi giorni fa. L’influencer Carlotta Mondelli ha regalato a una sua follower una settimana a Dubai, dove lei vive, ospitandola in una villa lussuosa. La gioia è durata ben poco, perché 24 ore dopo la situazione in Medio Oriente è precipitata.
Il racconto dell’influencer
“La situazione è surreale” racconta Mondelli in un video del 1° marzo, “continuiamo a ricevere allerte sul telefono da parte del governo di rimanere in casa, di stare lontano dalle finestre, di metterci al sicuro, di non uscire. Sentiamo botti, sentiamo elicotteri, sentiamo aerei. Siamo tutti spaventati“, aggiunge l’influecer, spiegando come non si sarebbe mai aspettata una situazione simile a Dubai. “Nessuno è riuscito a dormire. C’è tanta paura. Il governo sta gestendo bene la situazione: ci hanno detto che la maggior parte degli attacchi sono stati neutralizzati”. E quando qualcuno le chiede come stia la follower che ha vinto la vacanza, Mondelli fa sapere: “Sta bene”, e conclude amaramente: “Purtroppo sarà una vacanza indimenticabile“.
La situazione dei turisti bloccati a Dubai
Una situazione che riguarda molti turisti, anche italiani, al momento impossibilitati a lasciare il Paese dopo la temporanea chiusura dello spazio aereo e la cancellazione dei voli, risultanti dall’escalation militare in Medio Oriente. Tra questi pure la cantante BigMama, che sui social ha lanciato un appello: “Ciao ragazzi, stasera vi chiedo di darci una mano, perché stiamo vivendo un vero incubo. Siamo tantissimi italiani in questa situazione, in questo momento, quindi vi prego di condividere, di ascoltare, di cercare di muovere tutte le forze possibili”.

It was supposed to be an unforgettable vacation, and in fact it is, but for completely unimaginable reasons until just a few days ago. Influencer Carlotta Mondelli gifted one of her followers a week in Dubai, where she lives, hosting her in a luxurious villa. The joy lasted very little, because 24 hours after the situation in the Middle East deteriorated.
The influencer’s account:
“The situation is surreal,” Mondelli says in a video on March 1st, “we continue to receive alerts on our phones from the government to stay at home, to stay away from windows, to protect ourselves, not to go out. We hear gunshots, we hear helicopters, we hear airplanes. We are all scared,” adds the influencer, explaining that she had never expected a situation like this in Dubai. “No one has been able to sleep. There is so much fear. The government is handling the situation well: they told us that most of the attacks have been neutralized.” And when someone asks her how the follower who won the vacation is doing, Mondelli says, “She’s fine,” and concludes bitterly: “Unfortunately it will be an unforgettable vacation.”
The situation of tourists stranded in Dubai
A situation that concerns many tourists, including Italians, currently unable to leave the country after the temporary closure of the airspace and the cancellation of flights, resulting from the escalation of military action in the Middle East. Among these is also singer BigMama, who on social media has launched a plea: “Hi guys, tonight I ask you to help us, because we are living a real nightmare. We are many Italians in this situation, at this moment, so please share, listen, and try to use all possible forces.”

La star de la saga culte “Evil Dead”, Bruce Campbell, a annoncé à ses fans qu’il est atteint d’un cancer incurable. L’acteur de 67 ans précise que si le traitement est possible, la guérison ne l’est pas, et que sa carrière devra désormais s’adapter à cette nouvelle réalité.
