#ReaperDAW actually plays pretty nice with #git, though the binary audio files are obviously kinda big and unwieldy. If I were collaborating with others, I'd do well to separately store those and just git the project files.
Just having all of my #Inkscape art in a project is quick and easy and pretty painless. I've been scouring my laptop and network, finding other places where I had copies of things squirrelled away, and freeing up space. Liberating and fun.

I have started moving more and more of my creative work from just simple shares on the network drive to #git projects on my local #Forgejo container in #TrueNAS
Most of the time, I am working from home on my network and it doesn't really matter that much. But I do take my laptop on the go sometimes, and it's nice to sync it up and KNOW that I have it all locally. Also, my Mac is awfully inconsistent accessing network shares; this may be a better workflow.

Yesterday I've crafted a small config snippet for Fish shell that shows `git status` output that shows git status on pressing enter in an empty shell prompt if your are working in a git repo dir.
This works really nice.

Mirroring git snapshots over the #gopher protocol is an absolutely wonderful and convenient service.
Further, gopher specially works as a directory browser of text (and other) files, which is just what you want for #git in the first place !

Ele redefiniu como pensamos em controle de versão, abriu caminho para estratégias de ramificação e integração contínua, tornou revisões de código parte natural do ciclo de desenvolvimento e possibilitou que conceitos como DevOps e GitOps se tornassem realidade.
Esse encontro no CoffeeOps 2025 é um convite para revisitar esse legado, refletir sobre o impacto dessas transformações na prática diária da engenharia de software e olhar adiante para os próximos capítulos que ainda serão escritos no nosso log coletivo.
Os CoffeeOps[1] são encontros descontraídos para compartilhar conhecimento, trocar experiências e construir juntos.
